What was the first (even vaguely) Sociological book/work you ever read?

The above, Disconnected, is not strictly Sociology (Barham is a cultural researcher), but it is ethnographic and it does look at youth culture.

I first read it when I was 14, before I knew what Sociology was and thought it was fascinating that this guy went round and talked to groups of people about the (incorrect) popular perceptions of them!
